Am working on a huge project, but could do with some help please if you would be so kind. I basically want to say this:

Our company may not talk the talk as well as some others and have a fab corporate image but we graft hard and deliver the bloomin goods!

Some other people pitching will talk the talk better than us but aren't as good IYKWIM!

Thanks

"We believe that action speaks louder than words, and this is reflected in our guarantee to do what we say we will do"

"We believe in our results speaking for themselves. We will not waste time or effort by trying to convince you otherwise."

We spend our time making the product the best, rather than spend out time trying to sell it, we believe our products will/do sell themselves.

Others may have slicker images and smarter logos but that's because we prefer to focus on our results - and it shows

meowmix · 10/02/2006 16:45

We're focused on results for our clients rather than promotion for ourselves. We believe happy clients are our best marketing tool - and here are some examples of them...

or don't mention it directly, presumably they're already aware of you and have asked for your proposal so they don't seem to see it as an issue?

good luck!

If you have been invited to pitch by a blue-chip company then they must know you are smaller and less slick

I would avoid comparing yourselves to the bigger, slicker companies after all you just can't compete in that field and by saying something you risk drawing attention to your failings

focus on your strengths and try to word them so that they infer other's weaknesses rather than explicity mentioning them

I would have thought as a small company you have

direct and constant access to senior personelle
an enviable track record of delivery on time and within budgets
little / no hierarchical or beurocratic structure to impede project management and delivery

do you mean that kind of thing northerner?

Yes Twiglett - that's exactly what I mean.!

I will definatley use most of this. Thanks!

I did a presentation a while back and used the words 'we aer not a company of grey men in grey suits...'
and we won that bit of business. It implied that we were able to be be quick thinking, innovative and deliver a product/service tailored to the customer's needs, not just an off the shelf service.
