Help with MSN please

I downloaded a newer version yesterday and it stopped working so this today Ive had to uninstall it and then when I restarted the computer it came back but only the very basic one - no display piccies or anything.

How can I get back 7.5 which is what I had?

I found the old msn still lurking in my computer somewhere and then downloaded 7.5 again so it is working atm - til i log off and then it probably will stop working again!!
