Just decided going to start selling things I have around the house, and set up my sellers account.

Just wandered what was the best time to end auctions, obviously it will be when most people are on the pc, what do sellers think is he best time.

I thought nights as people looking ta home at night, but then perhaps at work when they should be working etc etc.

Sunday evening are good... everybodies in then!

depends what you are selling. Baby/children stuff goes well during the school day. Electronic and dvds and stuff best late in the evening, around ten oclock.

Theoretically, the best time to put stuff on is on a Thursday evening for a 10 day auction. That way your item/s will get maximum exposure (10 days) and will end at the time when most people are looking.

Aside from the auction timings, top tip is to decide which category you want to put your item/s into and then find the category through "Ebay Pulse" on the home page. That gives you the top 10 most searched for words in that category, so if you can legitimately fit as many of those words in your title, you should get more hits.

yikes, I never put anything on for ten days. IME, people don't want to wait ten days for an auction to end, and don't search that far down the list neither. I would only do ten days for something especially rare.

In some ways it depends what you're selling I suppose - but with all the sniping programs which kick in at the end regardless of what you're selling, you're allowing for more snipers to spot you!

People also will put it on their watch list.

Its only 3 days longer than a week
