coming back from taking dp to work and calling at a friends...in go slow traffic..taxi in front..stopped dead..i broke then foot sliped off break and went straight ito back of him

Lucky - could have been worse.

Snowing here today so as DH is away I took his Volvo as it's 4x4. But was then terrified of bumping it - he'd kill me!

Well he wouldn't really but I'd feel terrible.

Scratched my car last week along the bumper and DH just said - "that's what it's there for!"

Look after yourself, have a good day- maybe a huge bit of cake as consolation! And make a big fuss of dd, she'll pick up on you being shaken and might worry a little bit.

she was more concerned that i was getting in the taxi and leaving her, bless her..we're off to nursery soon so i think a packet of milky way stars is in order after her lunch
