My DD (2) is growing out of her baby legging, they have to wear leggings with tops at nursery (not jeans as they can't do them up by themselves), where do you get leggings that are thick enough to be worn just with a top and don't show knickers etc.

Links would be good

Asda cable knit leggings are nice and thick and warm direct.asda.com/george/girls/leggings/cable-knit-leggings/GEM73119,default,pd.html.

To my surprise I found DD nice warm ones in Zara.

I looked at the asda ones but i think the fabric they are made from may not be as hardwearing as cotton leggings. I had a look in Zara today and found some good quality navy and grey long thick cotton leggings for wearing with tops as well as some cropped ones in pick and purple to wear under dresses etc, they were a good price too. Thanks for both of the recommendations.
