The babies hideaway

After a chance comment in a thread about sleepless babies with iPhones who are chattering to each other in their own version of mumsnet ganging up and deciding how best to keep mummy and daddy up all night I thought it only right that they had somewhere to post Wink

From Baby100 at 2.30 am

"tee hee hee. I've got mummy up again. Seriously, that'll teach her for putting me in my own room"

And at 2.30pm

"fgs she put me in my cot for a nap, when is she ever going to learn, I don't want to nap there, I much prefer napping on her"

Feel free to let your babies chatter to each other.

Hey baby100 - babygig here. Make sure you howl the place down if your mum thinks you are asleep enough so she can nip out for a cup of tea.

Babygig, great plan. Mummy thinks I'm asleep now, I'm just biding my time until she thinks about going to bed and then I'll get her up.

Hi, I have decided that I am going to wait till they start eating their dinner then will hit em full force. Think I might giggle a bit when they come up so they are not cross but then scream like a banshee if they try to put me down. If it works I will do it all night.
What do you mean your own room? I own ALL the rooms in my house!

100years · 03/04/2012 19:40

Yes the shut up/smile approach works with my mummy too, I do that a lot. Well Mummy and Daddy keep telling me it's my room, but then they come into it too, so I think that's hardly fair really.

Candr and 100- own room? That is like own bed.. I don't understand that either. They have a Nice big bed, so why do I have to go in a poxy cot.

Also I find that the best time to be sick is right after your bath. You can get your clean clothes and your dads.

I find peeing on daddy fun. I was a good girl last night, I let mummy cuddle me loads in the night because I know she loves cuddles so I got her to see me about 5 times, and I even played happily in my cot for an hour at 4am. I don't think mummy appreciated the lengths I went to to see her.

Gig I know, and the cot thing has bars so I can't even escape like they can from their big comfy bed.

Tell you what mummies and daddies love - if you keep them company in the evening. It's a sacrifice for me but I know they need me there to entertain them.

candr · 04/04/2012 22:02

I decided to have my naps in my cot today. Think I will fool mummy into thinking I will be fine to sleep there at night soon so they get rid of the crib. If I am then noisy enough each night I bet I end up back in the big bed with free boob access all night Grin.
100yrsbaby, ooh haven't peed on mummy or daddy for a while (a couple of leaks in the night just isn't as satisfying) - will try and fit it into busy schedule tommorow.

Gigondas · 04/04/2012 22:21

Don't just pee- see if you can poo too. Or save some poo for after they change you- the old double whammy.

Aw shucks dudes, I think I'm being punished. Last night I tried my hardest but I could only manage to get mummy up 3 times, she was happier with that, but she tried a new trick on me and I fell for it :( bum. But worse than falling for mummy's trick is that mummy and daddy aren't taking me away tomorrow to visit my friends anymore. I was a little bit sick today a few times and now they're playing the old game of keep me locked up indoors. It's it fair, I was going to get to play with big girl toys, but I've got to stay with mummy while daddy goes to see my friends. I think I might spend a lot of time crying tonight to show them how upset I am.

Baby100, what trick was it so I can be prepared? You could try being sick all over the bed tonight, say 3am, just to make a point!
I managed to get back in the big bed last night as made mummy so sleepy she couldn't stay awake feeding me. It's sooo cosy there Wink If they gave me a big snuggly duvet I might be tempted to stay in my bed but they said not till I am much bigger - boo Sad

Babyc, mummy put me on my tummy, it's much nicer now like this, I used to try turning over but mummy used to stop me, she says I'm abut enough girl now. I'm going to try the middle of the night sick. Great going on getting your mummy to sleep feed, I can't do that when I'm in my own room, but I got a morning feed and cuddle today in mummy's bed. I love it.
