Should I visit her?

I have a friend who went into hospital to have her baby on Thursday but haven't heard that she has had the baby.
She texted me on Tuesday to say she was 1cm and another friend phoned on Friday & spoke to her partner who told her that she was 4cm and going to have a c. section if she didn't progress by that afternoon. I am getting a bit worried and don't know whether to turn up at visiting time or not.
or am I panicking too quickly?

call the maternity ward and ask if she is happy for visitors

I've been trying to ring but no one seems to be answering

I'd keep trying, busy places sometimes! if you call the main switch and explain you can't get thru, they may be able to help?

Panic over! My friend has just called to say other friend called her (she couldn't got hold of me!) Her little boy was born on Friday and they are both doing well! She has now been told off for not letting us know earlier!
