Anyone or their dh/dp know about comics/superheroes ect?

I'm hoping that there are some comic book fans on here who can help me out.
I inherited loads of comic annuals from the 50's 60's & 70's a few years ago,but don't have the space to store them now,so decided to sell them on Ebay.

DH picked one of them up & said that there was something unusual about it.It is called 'Fantastic Annual 1969' & features the X MEN,Thor,Iron man & the Hulk.

DH says it is unusual because some of the characters are from different publishers & that never happened.ie DC Comics would never feature a character from Marvel comics.

I have googled,but can't find out anything about it at all.Ebay haven't had one listed before.I'd like to find out a bit more about it if I could.It is in perfect condition as it was never read.

If I can't find out anything online,I'll take it to a dealers,but the thought of taking an 8 month old & a 29 month old into a specialist bookshop with expensive stock worries me some what.

definitely get it appraised it MAY be worth something but dont be to upset if it isnt.

If you have a Forbidden Planet near you, they would be the ones to ask.

Thanks,I'm going to find out where the nearest Forbidden Planet is & take it in.I'm not bothered if it isn't worth anything much,its just that I don't want to undervalue it & have someone take me for a fool.

I've just checked one of the annuals I put on Ebay & it is over £17.00 now! To think that I was going to car boot them all at £1 each.9grin]

Beetroot & Frixbeetheexpansion set,thanks for the messages.20 of the annuals are already on Ebay,so will have to be auctioned unless I get no bids.But I have some that I haven't put on there yet & there are still more at my mum's.{she was going to put some of them in the recycling box!]

I have a 1965 copy of the Fireball XL5 annual on Ebay which finishes at 10.15pm tonight,its item no is 6601497011 & there is the link on it to show my other items if your brothers/dh want to see photos ect.

I will hold back on listing the rest until I have been in touch with you or vice versa.
