When you type something into google (or whatever) there is usually a small menu that drops down, this has been disabled on my computer but id like to get it back - how??? im pretty stupid with computers!

If you mean the address bar at the top has a drop down list, I didn't realise it could be enabled/disabled? I know that if you clear the caches, the list will have gone - I do this regularly.

go to control panel. go to internet options. go to privacy. click on advanced. tick the box that says 'override cookie handling;'
