Have sold first item abroad, to the US.
Anyone know what I need to do re-customs form etc.

Hi Posey, if I was you I would recommemend that the buyer pays the £3.30 extra to get "international signed for" this would at least cover you up to £30, you can pay more to insure for its full value.

I had a problem last year when I sold a burberry coat my dd grew out of, I sent normal post to Germany and even though the buyer emailed to say it was recieved, the buyer then sneakily reported item not recieved to payapl, as I had only a "free" proof of postage, I lost the claim and ended up well out of pocket, I'd hate to see any ripped off in this way.

Its our 10th wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks so are going out for a really nice meal thanks to ebay!
