DD1 hates going to her new nursery help!

DD1 (3) has been going to nursery (A) since she was 11 months old, just 2 days a week and since sept 2 half days (DH changed job and is home more). She soon got very bored and missed being at nursery so we enroled her at the foundation 1 stage nursery (B)which she started in jan.

She loves going to nursery A and presumed that she would love nursery B, but no she hates it, she cried for 30mins before DH left the house with her today, all the way on the walk there and he left her crying. She's not a tearful little girl at all. Whereas when going to Nursery A she rabbits on nineteen to the dozen about all the things shes going to do and bursts into tears when shes picked up at lunch she doesn't want to go home!

What do we do? Nursery A is nearer work for me and a bit of a trek to get to plus would cost extra money each month, and also nursery B is attached the foundation 2 stage she will be going to sept 2007.

forgot to add the first few times she went she was happy at nursery B

and she does 2 sessions there.

Have you spoken to the staff at Nursery B?

DS1 used to go to a private nursery 2 days per week and hated it so much that he cried once we turned the corner and used to cling to me like his life depended on it. The staff used to have to prise him off me and they'd tell me that once I'd gone he was fine for the rest of the day.

It could be the same for your dd too.

nursery B have said she settles down after about 10 mins we are going to do nothing for now and see how it goes.
