Looking at Barbies recent lauch of 'New World Dolls', do you think that underneath their 'native' dress, they just reinforce the westernised ideal body image? Is this problematic for young girls formation of identity?

Please discuss you thoughts?

Same doll just differn colouring, no account of ethnic difference.

Have you seen a Fulla doll, she's the muslim worlds answer to Barbie. Has a much stronger sense of identity. Bigger knickers as well.
