Why am I beeding again ???? [bemused slightly panic emotion]

I had AF on the 16th of Jan but now am bleeding lightly atm (Ive only just noticed) surely I cant be having AF again!!! im only on day 16/17 of my cycle!!

Slight ache in stomach but nothing else.

Im gonna be sooooo mad if my cycle has changed to 16 days!! What a PITA that would be!!

didn't you have an accident with a condom last week...?? could you be pregnant?

Did you take the morning after pill in the end? That can cause you to spot a bit between taking it and your next period starting.

why would you bleed now if you were pregnant???

I did, but went to the docs who gave me the MAP, which made me throw up an hour later, called the docs back and she said not to worry and that it would probably be fine, but to come in on the 2nd for the contraceptive pill so I cant be pregnant [phew emotion]

Can the MAP cause bleeding?

I am exaggerating when i say an hour later, it was more like 3 hours

MAP messes your hormones around a bit, so could be that

The MAP can definitely cause spotting between the time you take it and your next period. It can also mean you start your next period a few days early.

I thought that if you throw up the MAP it wouldn't work. You can have an implantation bleed when pregnant.

Phew! I panicked there for a minute!

After realsising how stupid i was to take a chance and then wake up and realise i needed the MAP I was thinking it was sods law that it wouldnt have worked!

Just googling and it does say it can cause spotting - am stopping panicing now!

I think its if you throw up within 2 hoursa of taking it then you need another one. But this was more like 3 hours although I felt crap all night ewwww

Tamba the two times I took the MAP, I got a light period very soon (few days) after.
Once I threw up the first pill 4 hrs after taking it and had to go back for another. This was over a decade ago though.

That sounds about right piffle, it was a few days ago i took it.

Still a PITA having another period now though!!!

Should I still expect AF to tuen up on the 12th too?

says if period doesnt appear within 5 days of normal date then to do a test.

DH is laughing at me and says its my own fault - I told him about the comdom in the end.

I only have mild aches so thats something at last its usually really painful.

That pill has robbed me of 12 AF fre days
