How do you handle this stuff?

I've been a single mum for a while now. I entered my details on a dating site, just to see what would happen really, and I got chatting to a man who lives near me.

I just don't know what I'm supposed to be doing though. He gave me his email address and we exchanged a few emails and we have chatted on msn a couple of times. We have also exchanged mobile numbers, and have done a fair bit of texting.

I'm worried though, that I'm appearing to keen. I always text first although he always replies straight away.

What do i do? Do I play it cool or is that just stupid at my age?

Changed my name as I'm humiliated at turning into a teenager.

That's not really been mentioned yet. I'm not sure what I would say either. I need to lose weight and become more attractive first.

Maybe leave it a day or two to see if he gets in contact first? If he has always replied straight away then he must be interested.

I can't stop myself from texting. I think, i'll just leave it and see what happens and then my fingers get carried away. Now you can see why I'm so worried.

I did ask him if he minded me texting, and he said of course I don't mind, i love it. I thought that was nice, until I then started thinking maybe he loves women texting him because he is a big headed git.

i feel so out of touch with this sort of thing. I am quite down on myself generally, but I'm trying to sound positive, but then i don't want to build myself up into something I'm not.

He's just replied to a text now. Probably I shouldn't reply back straight away?
