Thanks!

If your sending it send it recorded delivery. As long as you use that post code you should be fine.
It is a lot easier and quicker to phone them, can you not get someone to call for you if you go through their security.

freshstart · 30/01/2006 22:21

will it not get to them if i just put it in post box?

How about their web site? Think u can e-mail them.Sorry dont know the address.

charliecat · 30/01/2006 22:24

I posted something to them and nothing happened to indicate they had recieved it, phoned them and it was all sorted within days.

If you have sent it recorded you have some proof you sent it and when, incase there are problems latter on though they are getting better with things like this.
The internet service if off line just know. If its an important change the local inland revenue will do it for you in the office and job centres can send details and trace them.

I too suffer from phone phobia but always phone tax credits people as it is then all recorded and any changes take effect so quick it scares me!

Depends what the change was if it'll show up. If your income hasn't changed enough to go outside the original limits then it won't show. Also if you've made changes that were in the fututre they won't show either, like if you had said your childcare costs were due to change next week the payemnts would increase but the notice still has the old ammounts on it.
