hiya cyan and allie, just got back from tescos and speaking to the doc who has really pissed me off! first of all i have to say i just bumpd into an old school friend at tesco and was so busy winging about not getting any sleep and feeling pisd off when i remembered her little girl of 3 who was standing very quietly.she has a pipe in her neck for breathing so cant talk, a tube in stomach for feeding and is having brain surgery on thursday at great ormond street as her brain in pushing through her skull, that put things in perspective for me!

cyan · 01/02/2006 12:03

god i hope everything goes ok for the little girl. My aunt works for a trust that helps families with terminally ill kids, she's just lost one of the kids and ive just thought about that so im going to try and stop feeling sorry for myself about everything

anyway back to the doc whos pisd me off, SHE (the bitch) phoned at 11.40 after surgery and i said i needed something stronger than phenergan to get liam to sleep as he doesnt sleep for longer than 2hours and thats good if he does that, normally 1 hour.

she said if phenergan dont work nothing will (thats not wot the mums on the sleep thread say). she then said "oh mine didnt sleep till she was 18 months old", i replied "were not discussing your child, did your child have food intolerances/allergies", she said no, i again said i was at my wits end and needed rest, she said "oh liams being a pain isnt he" .my reply to that was no hes not being a pain, hes in pain because of his digestive probs. of course she told me her dd had digestive probs too! silly bitch, ive never liked her. so to end my story, i have no drugs for liam (and i must remember my friends little girl when im moaning)

alliep30 · 01/02/2006 12:09

i've got nothing to moan about. i'm just a miserable cow... 7's that's crap. is there no one else who can help him bless him. Cyan, don't do shelf stacking... you need to use your talents!

cyan · 01/02/2006 12:09

for goodness sake, they can be so bloody irritating at times. can you not see another gp at the surgery or speak to soemone else? at my docs we dont have to see the same one, but im on medication and when i go to get that i do prefer to see the same GP as it's easier than having to explain myself over and over again. 7s, I don't know what to suggest. Wish i lived the round the corner and id come and relieve you for a few hours, know that it wouldnt stop liams pains but would mean you got a couple of hours kip.

An old proton here, would love something posh as a golf but on milage we do (40k a year minimum) there's no point, we run anything into the ground anyhow.

I barely drive now (very only just legal due to eyesight- will lose licence soon I am sure) but I can reverse park, but rarely have the confisdence to believe I can do it. DH excellent at it; used to have to do it on a daily basis.
