im back, ds has food intolerances/allergies since 4months old, hes never slept through the night, wakes every hour and guzzles water so much they tested for diabetes and kidney probs, which were ok thankfully. hes a nightmare, cute to look at but a very unhappy boy who has belly ache most of the time i think even tho im really careful with wot i feed him.

could have done without it tonight tho, how SD gone to bed then, bit early init

poor liam, what does he have an intolerance too? although not an intolerance whenever ds gets poorly its always to do with his chest. hes had croup, chest infections, bronchiolitis poor little man, but ive got asthma and although the docs wont diagnose it at the mo they reckon its v likely that he'll have it in future.

hi cyan, hes dairy, soya, gluten etc etc etc but tests are coming back negative as with a lot of mums tests on here.

croups awful, my elder one had that as a baby and i had to sit in the bathroom with the kettle boiling apparently to clear it. old wives tale i do believe coz it did bugger all. they cough like a seal dont they

I was terrified the first time, didnt know what was happening, oh and what a suprise was on my own and had to take ds up the hospital as SD was out on the razzle. there's a change. poor liam, is it a real nightmare feeding him, or have you just got your head round out? charlei developed eczema on his face and i was a bit concerned then read this book about feeding and it said that some babies have an intolernace to fish, id been giving him quite alot of it and so did a process of elimination, knocking out fish first. fortunatley after about a week of not giving him cod his skin was a bit better. are you working tomorrow?

not working tomoro, need a day off to get over the brandy!its getting easier with liam now hes got older as i can read his face more and try and calm him down more but when he has something bad to it he will just scream and you cant do anything, its really upsetting.

i gave him a piece of tomato a few weeks ago, never again! my "no go" list is huge.

yes i do. I do the same old stuff every day. school run, housework, school run, moaned at by hormonal 5 yr old, cook a boring dinner that no one wants to eat and then more housework then bed. don't get me wrong, i love my kids and my husband is wonderful, but i don't have anything else in my life... no hobbies, no career woe is me... I don't mind the career cos i can do that later, and i will try something new. You should try living here..there is nothing to do.. at the end of my garden is sheep. the nearest supermarket is 5 miles away... i'll drag my chum emma down who has posted on here, and we'll hi jack 7's. She's got loads on her plate so i shouldn't moan really

I'm quite central where I am but money is the tighest it's ever been and just don't know what to do. None of my closest friends have kids, i'm the first out of my oldest group. I do know a cpl of people but it's not the same. I feel quite stuck at the moment and feel bad for moaning because everyone else has other things going on in their life too. My nan's really poorly too, she has septacemia and has to have her left leg from knee down amputated and she has also contracted MRSA. So i feel bad about moaning to anyone!

don't feel bad hun. Money is crap. I was the first to have kids out of all my friends and I was v lonely and didn't have a clue what I was doing... My poor DH was made redundant, then some american scumbag stole £8000 that he owed him for work he'd done.. had to re-mortgage our house.. No but been looking for a while. Ive done bits and bobs since i left uni, ie for the mags and newspapers. Ive got an interview for teacher training because i dont know why? Im supposed to be starting a full tiem course in september to get my journalism thing but v scared about the prospect of leaving ds. just not sture what to do just want a little evening job to get me out of the house and have a little bit of money. dunno what to to do
