OP posts:
lanismum · 10/02/2006 23:06

yup, know queens square. i used to be a phlebotomist, so basically used to take blood from the kids all day long. also worked on the epilepsy and renal units for a while.

cyan · 10/02/2006 23:08

my aunt works for a trust for terminally ill kids so she is always up there. is that what you want to return to work to do or is there something else you fancy doing?

OP posts:
lanismum · 10/02/2006 23:09

id like to return to that, or something similar, i loved working with the kids. what would you like to do?

cyan · 10/02/2006 23:16

Ive spent the past year writing for a few mags etc so thats what Id like to do utlimately something to do with writing. But also interested in working for a non-profitable organisation/charity in the Press Office or something. But it's just getting the right job for me, I can just take a job and then if I hate it quit easily because of charlie. Am v scared of returning to work properly as have been out if it for so long, although i was at uni until last july not really samething.
what do you make of this whole modelling thing? did you enjoy taking dd to casting? x

OP posts:
cyan · 10/02/2006 23:16

i meant to say i cant just take a job!

OP posts:
lanismum · 10/02/2006 23:20

yeah i thought it was ok, at least it got us out for a while, and even though she didnt get the job, she will get a cheque for 18 quid just for going, so not a waste, and we will know what to expect if she gets another?

lanismum · 10/02/2006 23:21

im only doing it for a laugh really, id just love to show off and tell everyone its my baby in that mag or whatever.

cyan · 10/02/2006 23:23

thats how i look it at, gets me out of the house, get fed up of looking at same 4 walls. charlies getting a tenner for his casting. have you sent up an account for dd yet? ive only juts sorted out his trust fund thing but want to set up another one. im so poor at mo cant even afford to send the cheque for £40. i still havent heard anything just dont know if he'll get picked. oh well got us out for a cpl of hours

OP posts:
lanismum · 10/02/2006 23:26

she already has an account, i set one up when she was teeny cos lots of people gave me money for her when she was born, as lanis has only been taken on for 6 months i only had to pay a twenty quid, i sent that off today, hopefully will get to see her on the website soon.

cyan · 10/02/2006 23:26

charlie and i were in pregnancy and birth mag, but not flattering at all was me holding him just after giving birth. i look like a right gimp. done a few other bits but didnt get paid for it. dont care really just a laugh and something to do. seeing as theres nothing to do in harrow. oh yeah we go swimming once a week!
