For his new job. I think I am lonely. Already I am talking to myself. I am singing silly noises in songs. I am dancing around in a manner which would not have been unbecoming for my grandmother. Al of which are making me giggle to myself. Do I need help?

yes... yes you do!

Flossam · 29/01/2006 21:22

I won't need to identify myself. I'll be the one rocking gently in the corner, whispering to myself and shooting quick glances out of the sides of my eyes to all the people out of the computer!

WHen do you next see him?

Flossam · 29/01/2006 21:24

Either Friday evening if he finishes early, or Saturday lunchtime, for an hour maybe before I go to bed to get some rest before my shift! He has to go back on Sunday. So I'll definately be stark raving bonkers by next thurs.

I'll definately be bonkers by next thursday as we are of on holiday the next day and I'll probably won't have started the packing etc.

Flossam · 29/01/2006 21:27

We'll sit together then CM! We can have stare outs.

And how long is this going on for before you moved down and join him? You've got your mortage and everything sorted now haven't you?

Flossam · 29/01/2006 21:32

I really have no idea. I still haven't given notice at work (its 6 weeks not 8 as I previously thought). Still don't have a start date for new job. Don't know when the survey will be done, need to ring the bank. Still don't know when to move out of flat as it could financially cripple us even more to have to carry on paying rent here, we will be liable if no new tenant is found. Complicated?

God how I loathe all that palaver to do with moving. It will be us soon I guess. We've put ours on hold now until we get back from holiday.

Flossam · 29/01/2006 22:42

I'm chilled out tonight. I'll worry tomorrow!

Aww Floss . Gosh imm sad at DP working away tomorrow and Tuesday, I really feel for you. It will all be worth it though

Be good to see you next week too x

chicagomum · 29/01/2006 22:49

I actually quite like it when dh is away for a couple of days . I get to watch what I want to on TV, eat what I want and get the bed all to myself . Nice just for a couple of days mind.

Flossam · 29/01/2006 22:51

I have erm, left the hoover out. It's brilliant. I know I'm cleaning out the guinea pigs first thing and will end up needing it, I really can't be bothered to battle to put it away only to get it out again. DP would have had it away within 2 minutes flat. Of course, I am telling myself it is good for DS to familiarise himself with the hoover. He is improving but he has gone from terrified of it to cautiously nervous. Being nearly 15 months I don't think it is too much to expect him to help me out with the hoovering now and then, is it?

chicagomum · 29/01/2006 22:55

Careful with the hoover floss, dd has gone from being hysterical when I turn it on to now climbing on top of it and riding around/falling flat on his face when I us it these days.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 29/01/2006 22:55

DD helps me with the washing (loading & unloading washing maachine and tumble drier), the washing up, the hoovering and general tidying up (we do the tidy uppa song to the tune of frera jacques). She is 2.9

chicagomum · 29/01/2006 22:57

DS puts things in the bin, and by that I mean anything he happens to be holding at the time, or into the washing machine.

Flossam · 29/01/2006 23:10

Oh yes. We had a rubber duck in the bin last week. Soft toy donated kindly to the guinea pigs this afternoon. Poor things. They weren't expecting this when they arrived in my student house all those years ago! DS has helped pass me the washing off the clothes horse, for all of about four items them decided it would be more fun to knock everything off on to the floor. What are they like?
