I have a lovely canadian polar bear diamond and platinum jobbie that cost £3.5k but I don't want it as we have split up. Any ideas on selling it and getting decent price? Have all paperwork for it. Thanks

Ebay fetches good money for good quality jewellery with all the paperwork, better than you'd get at a jewellers/pawn shop.

Ebay. An antique shop.

You can also look at selling the stone separately from the setting.

Another idea is to keep it and have it made into earrings or a pendant for yourself.

Blimey, no way would I consider selling £3.5k of diamond ring on Ebay!

You'd be surprised, Soupy

Why not, SD? People sell cars and property on Ebay.

Think if you set a reserve and/or a Buy It Now price it's worth a shot.

Yes, and a friend was ripped off seeling an expensive itemon Ebay when the buyer managed to reclaim the money. Personally I wouldn't risk it.

Thanks - I think i might have a try at putting in on ebay... any ideas on a sensible reserve?

It'd be worth taking it to be valued by an expert first , then work out your reserve from there.
