My dd1 has recently started Ballet classes and last week I was given an enrollment form to fill in. One of the questions went like this 'We will sometimes need to touch your childs feet/limbs/body in order to make sure they are in the correct position, please could you indicate if this is acceptable'. I thought it was very sad that they felt the need to have to ask this. Is this just a sad but necessary part of life today, or is it over-cautiousness on the part of the teacher? What do you think?
