PMSL! We've just had our loft converted and we are dubious as to how efficent/well installed the insulation is in our roof. Its all plastered over so we cant open and check.

VVV - a cheaper way is to wait until its really cold & frosty or snowing & then go outside & see if any bits of your roof aren't white

QV: You might be better off with one of those laser temperature thingy thing things. You point it at a wall / window / edge / floor / small person, and it reads back temperature. You could do a series of readings every one foot along or sommit IYSWIM.

Dh says you can borrow it but you have to know the following.
1 it is worth £5000
2 it needs alap top and the soft ware loaded on to it.
3 you could have it monday afternoon and have to bring it back the same day.
4 Would also need verification from a MNetter I know that you are not a hairy arsed lorry driver

Will get back to you asap Beetroot. Have to check with DP as there is no way i could get it, use it, and then bring it back on my own. Need him to sort a day off.......
