4 yr old DS has been invited on a play date, but doesn't want to go, what do i do?

My 4yr old DS has been invited on a play-date, the little boy is very active but is also quite possessive of my son e.g. won't let him play with other children at nursery. The friends mum is lovely and she has invited him round, i left it open so i could ask DS but he doesn't know want to go, how do i tell her without making it sound like i don't want him to go round?

Advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would just say you're very busy that day, infact that week is very hectic and hopefully it'll just be left like that!
It is an awkward situation.
I've had it a few times over the years...but you can't make your child go if he says he doesn't want too.
