"Barclaycard said that customers signing up for the offer had not been confused." I think if it could confuse you it would confuse almost anybody! (That's a compliment BTW!)

I despise Barclycard, I have one and have been f**d for 17.9% apr every month for 3 years, before that it was 21.9%, and then 19.9% !! Luckily DH and I came into some money earlier this year and we were able to clear all of our credit cards which was a truly wonderful feeling !
