If your dad gave you the phone he'd be the only one who would know the number. If you put in a wrong one too many times then you need to get a PUK code from the service provider. If it's locked to one network and you want to use a different one, you can buy those codes from ebay for 99p.

Depends what network it's on and if anyone else has set one. The default on orange nokia's is 1111, but not sure if that'll help you.
