set the timer for 15mins and do as much as you can, i concentrate on one job (1st one on my list is living room) then report back to say what you;ve achieved. have a break then do a nother 15mins elsewhere or carryon with the same job.

am back. living room is now tidy, floor swept and powermopped. dd1 has fed the guinea [igs for me, and is outside (not the best palce for her when she is ill, but she is going mad with excess energy), she put the keyboards and drum kit back in her room as well.

oh my god you have achieved more than me!
have gathered a load together and filled washing machine.have picked up all dirty socks rtc off living room floor and put in washing basket, ditto shoes-now on the hall rack. have taken all breakfast dishes and mugs into the kitchen, and have bleached the kitchen bin.
and answered the phone.
how long a break do we get?

misdee · 25/01/2006 10:53

however long you need. am off to do another 15mins before dd3 wakes up., see you soon.

LoveMyGirls · 25/01/2006 12:40

you having a cuppa tea 1st? i've got loads more to do too am having breaks in between

nowanearlyNicemum · 25/01/2006 12:42

see you back here in 15 minutes....

LoveMyGirls · 25/01/2006 12:42

am i the only one who finds it relieve's my stress if the house is tidy? im not overly stressed if its messy but when its clean i feel like everything is right in my world.

nowanearlyNicemum · 25/01/2006 13:04

well it took me more than 15 mins but I managed to do the washing up, drying up, put out my washing and put another load on .... and make myself a cup of tea.

LMG - I can see what you mean but my house so rarely falls into the 'clean and tidy' category that I've given up being stressed about it.

LoveMyGirls · 25/01/2006 13:09

nowanearlyNicemum - have you got more to do? shall we go again at 1.15? i need to put all my clean washing away and make my bed and clean the bathroom.

nowanearlyNicemum · 25/01/2006 13:11

ok for 1.15......
will gulp down rest of tea - your fault if it burns like hell

LoveMyGirls · 25/01/2006 13:14

ok 1.15 it is, i need motivation or id sit here until baby wakes up lol

LoveMyGirls · 25/01/2006 13:35

ok that didnt go as well as id hoped only managed to sort washing into piles and put all baby clothes away so the bathroom and making my bed will have to wait, i cant do my bed until its time for baby to wake up anyway as i will wake her if i go in. im going to go again at 1.40pm for 20mins and then it will be time for baby to wake up anyway. who's with me?

nowanearlyNicemum · 25/01/2006 13:44

made soup for dinner and tried in vain to remove stain from dd's trousers. bloody annoying, she sat down in a puddle in beige combats and I think they're going to have to go in the bin. heaven knows what was in that puddle
LMG - will go again at I.45 - thanks for keeping me motivated

MarsOnLife · 25/01/2006 13:47

Okay.. all done. Changed the room around, feeling a lot happier about it. Just 5 boxes to get rid of.
