Ahhhhhh MSM Messenger not working Heeeeeeelp

Recently upgrade to MSM Messenger ver 7.5, but it wont load now!! Can uninstalled/installed several times, but to no avail. It comes up with error message 8004883.
Have searched all the techie sites and it appears to be a common problem, I?ve tried updating my registry but still not working.
I need it to ?talk? to my ds1 and all my virtual friends!!! I can?t install an older version either.
Ahh can anyone help???

Me23, have starting and restarted 20 million times, it's going to be rebooted out the window in a minute

Nah just checked the whole c drive only have 7.5 version

can you not install new virsion then load your friends etc back in via their email addresses?

I am so sorry to say that I had the same problem about a year ago and mine still isnt working. Other than calling out an IT Engineer I dont know what to suggest.

Alot of people have this problem once they download Version 7.5. It works for a couple of months then goes to pot!

Hope you can sort it out. If you do manage it please let me know what to do!

Have you checked the date on your computer? This can cause problems if it is wrong. Try doing a system restore if you have xp. If you are desperate you can use webmessenger until you get it sorted. here

you can download windows messenger from microsoft. But I found when my msn buggered, I couldn't get on windows messenger neither.

kelly hadn't thought of a system restore, great idea, but Ive just spent ages cleaning, scanning and doing all the housework on my hard drive well it's better than doing real housework!!

If I can't get to work by tomorow, I'll do a system restore!! Thanks!!
