Over the last few weeks Carl (whom I have only met twice at meet ups) has:

Given me lifts
Called me about jobs as he noticed i was looking for one
Offered to help with Dhs car when he saw that it had broken down

and tonight, on seeing on mn that my ds was poorly, has bought me a thermomiter over, going out of his way cause he lives miles away, and has called to check how ds is doing.

How fab is he!!!!

JARM, I had an email from Hub today, they've been away and haven't been back home long. He's making a valiant attempt to cut down on MNing but says he'll be posting some recent photos of Camille pretty soon.

hmmm well im kinda hard to please...

need to be taken for a curry once a fortnight, be allowed to watch a girly film once a week (princess diaries was on when you were here), also require a lie in at least once a week and purple grapes with no seed!

Good fun, great weather, but moving to new hotel / home every few days, with too much luggage plus travel cot, pushchair etc., and taking flights too often (visited Houston and Las Vegas) was just too knackering, plus we all got ill. We had a good time, but if we do it again we'll stay in one place for much longer ! I'll start a thread to say hi to everyone.

whispers (as that seems to be the theme here) hub2dee, did you see that Hunker had her baby yesterday afternoon - no official announcement yet (as she stayed in due to her diabetes) but everything appears to have gone well.

hiya cm, yeah I did, thanks. Sent an e-mail. Hope the two of them are doing well. Was wondering if mini munker will be kept in for a little while for monitoring. Hope not.
