I stopped playing the piano aged 12 at grade 6 and haven't been near one since and can barely play anything now. One of my greatest regrets.
The kids were given a keyboard for Xmas by my dad and I've bought myself the grade 1 syllabus and some easy music to see if I can get myself back to where I was.
I'm finding the pieces pretty easy and it's gradually coming back to me, but Grade 1 is a long way away from grade 6.
Has anyone else self re-taught themselves the piano after years away from it.
