Lonely in Newbury......NCT?

I have recently moved areas and with maternity leave imminent and NO friends locally, I would like to meet some people cos I'm feeling a bit lonely .
I have tried ringing the NCT but none of the phone numbers given seem to work or they are all recorded messages.
Has anyone any idea?

my mate lives in newbury and she has just joined NCT and made loads of friends..she had only just moved as well.. lots of her friends in same situation and so they have made a good group... keep trying,...

Quite often NCT lines will have recrded messages - the branch I belong to does as the people who run the branch are volunteers and so take turns to listen to messages and then get back tp people.

So don't worry that you are being ignored - I'm sure someone will get back to you
