about the kind of people that I would like my children to grow up to be, and I started thinking about myself and how my mum raised me. So this lead me to think about parenting in general and all the trials and errors we make.
I have been in and out of mumsnet now since 2002 and I was just thinking that it has changed quite a lot I thought this was a forum for advice, help and encouragement in parenting because at the end of the day we are all in the same boat. But when I was thinking about it I feel that there are some people who can be very self riteouse and probably sometimes quite rude and in my opinion and this is only my opinion quite enjoy being controversial and debating parenting issues and of course they are entitled to their own opinion but I dont think it should be at the expence of other parents feelings as the job we do is hard enough already.
I know everyone has different opinions about parenting and it is for this reason I would never say thet someones way of doing it was incorrect or wrong.
So when we all give advice to someone can it not be a case of there are lots of different things to try and here is how I did it but if it doesnt work then try someone elses idea, not dont listen to that advice here is mine hers is wrong!!
Sorry for being long but I love mumsnet and value the advise I get - all of it, although I may not use it all, as I said if one thing doesnt suit me or my child I can try another!!
