If you were in a supermarket with your DC and there was a toddler screaming the place down and his Mum, who was with two friends, was shouting at him:

"Shut the fuck up, you fucking little bastard"!

???

I am ashamed to say I said nothing as I was on my own with my DC and she was with her friends and they looked like they'd "have you".

My DD was near her DS and I did say "Say hello J" and DD said hello and then we went on our way

There's not a lot you can do is there WCL? It is awful when you hear the way some people speak to their children

Breaks your heart doesn't it. Just hope that she was showing off in front of her friends and is usually a great mum. I don't think you could have said anything
