HELP!!! Bathed Little Touch Leappad....

Well.... while I've been on here explaining that I come on here for DD's benefit so that she can learn to amuse herself, she has been playing with a bowl of water and a sponge merrily bathing barbies, cowboys, cars..... We discussed that the beanie baby and the soft bellied babies weren't a good plan.

Then I realised that the little touch kept turning itself on and off...

Went over, and it appears to have been "cleaned" - not dunked properly (lots still dry), but most likely wiped with a dripping sponge, apparantly around the button area!

DD tells me it was "dirty"

I've wiped dry what I can, taken out the batteries, and set it above a radiator to dry out (not on the radiator).

Any other suggestions?

What's the likelihood of it being ok?

I guess its good that she likes clean things... now we just need to grasp that we don't bath soft things or things that we turn on....

I would suggest leaving it to dry out for 24 hours, then put the batteries back in and see if it works.

i'd have hoped that it should withstand some water
