15mths old is nail biting- i think!

as i bite my nails now and again but since yesterday DD had the tip of her finger in her mouth

is she trying to copy me

or am i exaggerating?

My dd is 17 months and she has been copying me nibbling on my nails for ages . I cant remember the last time i actually had to cut them as she does it all the time.I try to ignore/distract her cos if i tell her not to bite her nails she does it even more.

My dd is 2 in a couple of weeks and constantly goes on about 'jaggy nails' and bites them off. She seems to have been doing it forever but I'm not bothered about it. You're not exaggerating, just ignore it!

as im not sure if she is trying to copy me or just curious!
