i would not join the apostrophe proctection thingy. I do have a pet peev about the things tho.
would rather people didnt use them at all rather than used them for every word ending in the letter 's'

I'm not a member of the apostrophe protection society though and I don't correct other people; but bad punctuation does distract me from the content.

i have got my class (year 6) on a mission to track down wrongly used apostrophes (yes i am that sad)
one boy got his step father to change all his business letterheads etc to correct this!!!
