Aw did I forget to tell you ??

She had triplets this a.m, and is now doing the moon walk, she will be back in the morning.

Tamba, your birthday's approaching too! Any big plans?

I'm OK - been having on and off crampiness but nothing major.

OMG saw she was posting about 5pm today and clicked on this thread thinking she had had baby and was back here (now that's what I call devotion/obsession).

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 10/01/2006 20:14

hehe LGJ - i would be surprised

No big plans Hunker, lack of money sort of puts a stop to them but am going shopping with WWB which will be fab and dh is taking over the childcare and housework and cooking for the whole day which will be a fab b'day pressie

Have you got everything ready? Packed that hospital bag yet? I was so particular with ds1 everything had to be just right, with ds2 things were just shoved in a bag at the last minuite

Any names picked yet??

I dont want anymore babies myself but I love hearing peoples name ideas!

OP posts:
TambaTheDragonSlayer · 10/01/2006 20:14

Miaou · 10/01/2006 20:20

Tamba you read my mind, was just going to start a thread asking the same thing!

We expect an epic like mine was hunker - blow by blow description - you are having it at home next to the computer aren't you?

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 20:37

Yes, think we have names, but not making them public till after the baby's born (want to make sure they look like the names iyswim!). I realise how annoying that is though

Your birthday sounds lovely - would love to meet WWB!

Hospital bag's packed and is in the boot of the car, ready for a quick getaway Kept falling over it in the bedroom!

Oops That'd be my first move, after having triplets, obv!

CM - not sure I'm quite that devoted!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/01/2006 20:40

She's already told me, she is going to call her Mini Victoria Hunker.

Off topic - Am wondering where a certain poster is today btw, now a certain thread has been deleted.......

Thomcat · 10/01/2006 20:48

Hunker - my text is too uch grief to reply, so doing it here hon'.

All good in the Thomcat household, hope same can be said of you.

Looking forward to hearing your news now really.
How are you feeling about the immeinent birth? Still all excited about the home-ness of it etc. Do you think DS has any idea what's happening?

Lets hook up asap with the new bubs, and your DS of course. Maybe you could come here, would be easier than cafe nero for all the happening that go hand in hand with new babies and DS1 will be less bored so therefore give us more time to chat.

DD2 is fab, such a easy good natured chilled little girl, she's delicious. Lotbags went back to school today and in general is just more relaxed now, think we just needed to get out and about with her more.

Saw the GP about my boob today. He gave it a really hard squeeze and got something out the blocked duct. I nearly bit him! It really hurt, but it will have helped and he also gave me some antibiotics and an appt to see him on Thursday am.

TC xx

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 10/01/2006 20:51

Ouch TC - hope it clears up soon!

Have you choosen a name for you little dd? I think last I read you were thinking about Evie?

Are you excited Hunker? I was induced with both of mine and i thought it was great cause I could plan things. I was nervous of going into labour in the night

OP posts:
sweetkitty · 10/01/2006 20:55

She is with me on the clary sage Jan thread but is NOT allowed to have her baby before me!!!!

Thomcat · 10/01/2006 20:56

Hellllooooo
No, still no name, we're such bad parents!
Oh, we'll get there, and it'll such an anti climax when we finally decide!

H - get on the castor oil girl, sod being induced. Your bumn'll be a bit sore, but hey, that's a given anyway really. Do it, do it, do it!
Are you still doing this at home btw?

Thomcat · 10/01/2006 20:59

Clary sage is a load of old b#@@*$!s I put 25 drops in my first bath. Was drugged to my eyeballs and couldn't even pull the duvet up over myself Had about 10 baths with it in. Castor oil is the only sure fire way of having a baby later that day.

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 21:03

Castor oil's starting to sound tempting, TC! Nah - not even due till 14th so am sticking to clary sage and nature's prostaglandin, shall we say?

Not having this one at home, not after having had so much be a bit not quite right this pregnancy with having diabetes and the baby being possibly on the small side, etc, etc. Felt very relieved when I made the decision not to, so I think it's the right one! Would have loved a homebirth, but only if everything was straightforward or I think I'd have been too worried for it to work out well anyway iyswim.

Cannot wait to meet DD2 and see Lottie again - will definitely have to arrange meeting up as soon as this one's here. Think you're right about Nero not being the best place to do that though - lol!

Glad to hear you're feeling better boobwise - winced when I read about the doc squeezing your boob though - and LOL at nearly bit him! Don't blame you!

Oh, getting excited about meeting my baby!

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 21:05

Almost starting to like the smell of clary sage though - but agree it's a load of old tosh!

sweetkitty · 10/01/2006 21:08

I agree clary sage is pants!!! All this whooooooo big scary clary sage it isn't recommended blah blah blah it stinks and it hasn't done anything!

Couldn't do castor oil ever sorry!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/01/2006 21:21

Ball pits hunker, i tell you

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 21:21

TC, just remembered - Sea Pebbles are in the Times lunch for a fiver thingummy - one lot of tokens does for up to six people iirc. Bargain! Will save some.

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 21:21

QV, that took a minute to work out! PMSL!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/01/2006 21:38

Im afraid i blur the theme of threads through one to another! Im not good at compartmentalising.

Great at talking b*llocks though

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 21:40

VVVQV, I could've written that post

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/01/2006 21:50

LOL - Im like that about some of your posts! (even the hormonal ones )

I have been wondering whether i have a split personality of late........that unbeknownst to me, i flip out and log on as hunkermunker.

Unfortunately, it seems that i spend a portion of my time talking to myself

hunkermunker · 10/01/2006 22:09
