watermarks from a glass shower door? Tried normal bathroom cleaning products including Cillit Bang but nothing shifts it. Got nice new bathroom and the shower door is already looking grotty - want to keep it nice and new looking!!

I get a shower spray - its inexpensive - and spray it after we've all showered which seems to prevent them

I think Kim and Aggie recommend rubbing a lemon on really stubborn stains and leaving it

And I tend to use shower gel and a buf puf on our glass doors whilst I am in the shower - it seems to get them cleaner than anything else!

viakal but it's awful stuff

sickandtired · 10/01/2006 19:32

cilit bang, and a nylon ( i think) scour, then scrub, then leave for two mins, then wash off with the shower then buff off with a towel or something, thats what I od and it works!

I love Vikal, it leaves the shower door so clean.

Ok, the environment is another story....but I only use it about every two months.

northerner · 10/01/2006 19:45

What is this Vikal?

I use my ecloth and haven't noticed any watermarks so it must be working!

LIZS · 10/01/2006 19:46

e-cloth works really well. We have clear shower panel on the bath and shower cubicle. It just lifts it all off, also great on chrome and mirrors !

Piffle · 10/01/2006 19:56

I clean mine every week, I use bath power which leaves it gleaming but have used lme remover on stubborn bits before.
Bath power is excellent and not chemically nauseating...
Or spray with thick bleach and leave for an hour then hose off if your head and nose can stand bleach.

Milge · 10/01/2006 19:58

Dettol Limescale remover - in green bottle. Use it about once a month, and try not to think too much about what i am putting into the drains.

northerner · 10/01/2006 20:00

Yes ladies you should all be using an ecloth. No products required!

melrose · 10/01/2006 20:03

What is an ecloth and where do you get them?

Milliways · 10/01/2006 20:05

I second ecloths & water. Got my best ones at Newbury show from some TV Shopping channel company, also got some good ones from Aldi!

northerner · 10/01/2006 20:06

We also use a squeegee on the door after showering - cleans away a lot of the gunk and keeps it clean for longer. Still have to do some sort of limescale remover, but not so often.
