I have tried putting an ad in my local paper and putting a sign in my car but yet to no avail! does anyone have any novel idea or experience pleeease? tia

I would second the Ebay option. I was really sceptical about it also, but sold my car this way this last year and got £500 more than I expected with cash on collection!

but do i have to get it to them or will they come to me? how much will i have to pay to advertise are there a lot of hidden charges?

normally thye would come to you, or you could offer to meet half way if your dh could follow you or something. £6 to list a car, then a percentage of your final amount.

£0.01 - £1,999.99 = £15.00
£2,000.00 - £3,999.99 = 0.75%
£4,000.00 and above = £30.00
