Some of the holes seem blocked and it doesn't have the power it used to and those mad cleaning women on the TV soaked one in a bag of vinegar???!!!!

Does it work?

Sigh, I remember an exciting life back in the day.

You daft bat!!!!

NomDePlume · 10/01/2006 10:37

it will work well so long as your shower head is not a plated metal (it'll strip the plate off it). Leave it overnight and it should clear your blockage.....

yes - -or you could always use a descaler like Viakel

Overnight? Hmmmmmm, what about my morning shower?

Think I will try it at weekend in the daytime.

Not sure if it is plated metal or not, it was from B&Q, no posh stuff in my abode.

If it's gold coloured then it'll strip, if it's silvery metal or plastic then it'll be ok.

silvery metal

I can't wait for dh to ask me why the shower head is in the sink in a plastic bag.

Vinegar is brill, the amount of things it can be used for is amazing, it took the rusty look out of my bathroom caddy thing which has a stainless steel look.
