what do I get for 8-yr-old goddaughter who also has december b'day?
My kids are younger so i haven't a clue.
I don't think she appreciates clothes (tried it!).

there were some great things in Makro and Woolies last year, box sets to"paint your own glass" or "make your own candles" or can't remember the name but i did one, where you stick tiny tiles to a pot...........

Our almost 7 yr old dn is into Bratz dolls and accessories. Or how about a Jewellery making set like Lego Clickits or Ello

My 8yo DD loves anything that she can make - the "Lets do it" range in Woollies are really good.

Also glitzty/girly stuff from Claires Accessories is always appreciated, along with any books written by Jacqueline Wilson.

As Slinky says jacqueline wilson books are very popular for this age group and to make it special I would try and get them signed by author. My daughter has The Dare Game and The Cat Mummy both signed and she treasures them. Also the Clarice Bean books are brilliant!!
