help me with this ratio please!

I'ld round it up to 1 to 7. As you can't really have fractions of an adult!!!

DH thinks it's fine for ratios to have decimals. oh well.

Do the ages of the kids matter? Different ratios for different ages? Just to confuse things .

It would be the kids you are fractioning .

if you want a non-decimal ratio, in this case, the only way of doing it would be 3:20, but I presume you want to know how many kids per one adult, in which case it comes down to 1:7 really.
