Why is my mouse sticking??

PC mouse that is I have taken the ball out and gave it a good clean, but it is still sticking, and quite frankly really pissing me off

the surface it's on?

ditch it and get an optical one!

Could be sticky?

i just did mine, clean the inside where the ball goes, i had sticky bits in the roller thing inside

take the ball out and give the ball and the mouse a good blow....

have a look on the underside. is there a load of black sticky goo you can scrape off? i frequently have to clean the ones at uni before they are any good, they just pick up goo from your mousemat. bleurgh

You could try taking the mouse ball out and you should see some rollers inside.
Get a cotton bud or q-tip (whatever they are called) with a bit of nail varnish remover and clean them.

Hopefully that will stop it sticking.

I ditched mine for one with no balls because I got fed up with them getting sticky.
