It is driving me mental. I have two darling boys 15months apart (now 3 and 2) but I found it very hard work at the start. I always thought I would have three children and love meeting other people's babies but I don't think I could go back. In Sept they will both be at school so I am looking forward to things being a bit easier (and cheaper as no nurseries to pay for!).

I have tried telling her to leave it alone but she just does not seem to get the message.

Anyone else had a similar problem??

yes. we have a 4 week old and 2.5 year old girls and peeps already ask when we're 'going for a boy'.

never.

i'm finding it rough now and whilst babies are lovely neither of us really wants to go thru the newborn/toddler sstage again.

That is a tough stage with a baby and young'un - it does get easier - although that can be infuriating to hear!

tell her you'll be having number three just as soon as she moves in full time to look after numbers one and two.

Or would she actually take you up on it?

Makes a nice change on MN; usually see people who are pregnant with no. 3 saying their parents are disapproving!

Not much help to you though. How many brothers and sisters do you have? If you are one of three, you could say your siblings have put you off! Or if one of two, ask her why she stopped there. Or just tell her straight you are happy as you are.

tell her you/dp have been sterilized
