Does anybody know of a sewing pattern for bean bags - the sit-upon ones - for children?

I can't find any that I like that I can afford!

I'd be grateful for any help.

Thanks

My mum made one a few years ago, I'll ask her where she got the pattern. It's probably a standard pattern that you'll find in the back of any of the pattern catalogues (eg Simplicity, Burda, etc)

I got some cheapish ones in Toys R Us but not wonderful designs. I know what you mean, I couldn't believe the nice ones in John Lewis are about £45!! I think Ikea do nice ones but haven't been there for a while....
(P.S. I can't even sew on a button and have a buttonneer so no use on the pattern )

My pleasure, Nattie It's amazing how many free patterns for sewing and knitting there are on the web, I keep loads of sites bookmarked.

What do you do with your web search - type in "knitting-" or "sewing patterns"?
