We are taking my DD (4) to a fireworks display tomorrow.

Can baby (8wks) come too? Is it just a matter of whether he will be scared or could the bangs actually be bad for him? Give him serious scare and scar him for life!?

Exactly the same age group and question for me. I was thinking of putting dd2 in sling all wrapped up but will the bangs be too much ?
Ours is Saturday so maybe you can tell me how it was for you Becca, if that doesn't sound strange IYKWIM

So if harveys ears blow off you will know not to go!!

Sling idea is good rather than pram, he should feel more snuggly and protected

The first fireworks Lottie heard at 11 months old - she loved them to pieces - her legs were going mad in my arms and she was just staring at the sky. She saw one last night at 22 months - her hand went over her mouth as she said 'ohhhh' and her eyes went like saucers. I can't wait for Nov 5th and watching her little face.
Sling good idea, I was at a mates house so I was holding her facing away from me while they were going off.

We didnt end up taking him - my Mum stayed with him as he was still unsettled from his jabs. If I had of taken him I was going to double up on hats over the ears wear him in a sling and wrap my coat round him!
