yes, i have gotton rid of 2 wardrobes (wiating to be collected), 2 food steamers and have just put some kids videos up.

have also placed a wanted ad as well.

Our council runs a scheme but it doesn't seem to get that much use tbh. Pity.

We wanted to borrow some roofbars for the car for our camping holiday last summer. A man on freecycle had several in his garage and kindly spent ages trying them to see if they fitted - in the pouring rain too! Sadly none of them did and we had to buy some but still, Freecycle is great. We've got loads of stuff to put on there to get rid of when we get round to it.

Yes, got rid of our old (working) washing machine. I check reguarly to see if there's anything we need - it's a great idea.

Here's a link to UK freecycle sites just find your area and sign up. I signed up with Blackpool and get emails evry couple of days - when I was signed up with gloucester I got loads! Very good site though.
