4blue1pink - I got some in Sainsburys quite recently and they was really well, cheap too.

trix1 · 01/01/2006 17:05

oops that was supposed to say they wash really well.

Just looked on mothercare website, they have some plain white babygros 3pk for £7.its annoying when the shops dont stock all the basics isn't.

oneofeach · 01/01/2006 17:31

I saw some in my Boots on Friday, they were on the Boots Basics range display of hats, vests, babygros etc (not with the mini mode stuff). They were pretty cheap as I recall, can'tremember how much though.

Primrk? Tescos?

If all else fails-ebay?

NomDePlume · 01/01/2006 18:16

They had them in Mothercare when I had DD in 2002.

Plain cotton ones here

Green Baby do one but it has poppers on the shoulder

NomDePlume · 01/01/2006 18:25

scroll down to the bottom, there are terry ones

4blue1pink · 01/01/2006 18:48

Thanks for all your help girls but still no nearer and it is ( pathetically) stressing me now. All my babies have had them no bother and this seems so odd. Then i have thought of unbleached ones but can only find them with poppers up back - well found them up front but sold out.

Surely some one.............I need mumsnet to come good for me!!! Even dp has spent afternoon searching!

there were some in m&s the other day - I wanted plain white jersey ones and they onlyhad hundreds of plain white terry ones!

maybe phone them and see if they have had any in.

I couldn't find any plain white jersey fitted moses basket sheets in mothercare the other day.... how CRAP is that! they were all puke green and yellow etc. Euch.

4blue1pink · 01/01/2006 18:55

I wish I could - our m and s had racks of jersey and only 12-18 month terry - the assistant did not help by saying ' Yes i would never put mine in anything but towelling' red - rag /bull scenario - now I HAVE to have them.

I have just moved house- whole place needs decorating - children 2 of them pre - pubescent - one nine year old boy being like a nine year old boy and a two year old with ear infections.....baby due 5 weeks why am i stressing over BL*&^%$ towelling sleepsuits!

how about putting a plea up on MN asking MNers to have a look in their local branch of m&s for them. Tell us the size you want and tell em you'll pay the postage (and obv the cost price), I'll happily look in my local one for you

4blue1pink · 01/01/2006 18:59

thats sweet ...do you think i could? Wish there was like a central office to m and s i could ring!

If you go to cust servs in M&S they have a massive catalogue of everything they sell. They should be able to order some in for you if they have them in stock anywhere. Good luck in your quest!

octavia · 01/01/2006 20:54

4blue1pink · 01/01/2006 21:28
