note to self: when unspringing a cake from a springform cake tin, remember to set it all down on a work surface before releasing clip. Do NOT under any circs balance cake on palm of right hand, use left hand to unclip the collar then punch said cake in your efforts to catch it

oh, if you were wondering, it was a LDC

Someone left a cake out in the rain. I don't think that I can take it, it took so long to bake it, and I'll never have that recipe again :(

(What's a LDC?)

I was once carrying a cake along a very major road in Leeds - past a long rushhour queue. The side of the box it was in somehow came open and it slid sideways out. I tried to catch it and in my confusion managed to stand on it as it hit the pavement. I was wearing steel toe capped DMs at the time. Think the queue enjoyed it....

I have a bad habit of subconsciously pushing hair out of my eye with whatever I'm holding.

Fine if it's a phone or a remote, not great when it's a knife or a wetwipe covered in toddler shit.

Random act of stupidity not cake related

• fell into the step ladder i was meant to be using and broke a children's table

• hit myself in the head with a badminton racket while playing badminton

• forgot i had a cup of hot chocolate in my hand when i swore at someone who cut me up and ended up chucking said cup all over closed window which obviously splattered on me to.

so many more, all are related to me hurting myself

Yes i also almost stabbed myself with a knife stopped myself when the blade started hurting me, i was taking off a top with a knife in my hand
