Any ideas for alternatives?

I've run out of care mats and don't really want to have to go into town as it is horrible weather, taxi fares are double and it will be packed.

Dd2's nappy usually leaks during the night because of the amount she drinks so we need something.

Has anyone any ideas for alternatives?

something waterproof underneath, followed by a towel on top? have you got one of those travel blankets with a waterproof backing that could be folded safely and tucked under the mattress?
maybe try to keep the volume of liquid down a little last thing at night, the room a little cooler to stop being so thirsty?

less to drink doesnt mean less wee!!

when potty training ds we used a regular changing mat with a sheet over the top.

or how about 2 nappies?

A bin liner slit down the edge to make it flat under a towel under the sheet.
