....omg, what a slut I am. there were dust balls in there that you could have made a jumper out of!

How do dust balls form I wonder???

mb - all the most interesting people have dustballs in their homes

the jumper might've made a nice Christmas present for someone though ...

Blandmum · 24/12/2005 10:16

I wrote merry christmas in the dust, dh said it saved on decorations!

They are formed by the tiny dust gnomes that live under the sofa.

All year they gather dust particles and knit them into balls especially for Xmas.

do not indulge MB in her pondering about dust ball formation, she'll be categorising them and analysing them and bringing the results to the party.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 24/12/2005 10:30

MB are they not in your book ??

Blandmum · 24/12/2005 10:37

I know that they are mostly dead human skin cells! Shit, I could make a whole new person, just from the dining room!

I'm putting glitter on my dust balls and passing them off as Christmas decorations

Janh · 24/12/2005 12:17

Any suggestions for incorporating sawdust and gerbil poo into the festive decorations?

Blandmum · 24/12/2005 12:20

Dust bunnies!

They congregate in quiet places (behind sofas, etc) and mutter about how slovenly their owners are. This is self-defeating in the main, because when the muttering gets loud enough for the slattern to hear, they go to the big hoover in the sky.

Is that scientific enough for you, MB?

harpsiheraldangelssing · 24/12/2005 12:25

dust bunnies are a sign of an interesting woman
one who has Bigger Fish To Fry
(clean skirting boards, in contrast, are a Bad Sign)

ChunkerXmasCake · 24/12/2005 12:31

I have enormous fish to fry then. Think blue whale...then double it (and MB, I know, I know, a whale's not a fish )
